FREE FLOW Exhaust Systems

A free flow exhaust system consists of pipes with a calculated length that allow a free passage to the exhaust gases. These pipes help in clearing the exhaust gases more efficiently with lesser restriction than in a stock exhaust system. This reduced restriction translates into improved power delivery. An increase in power by around 8-12% and torque by about 6-10% is achieved.

HEADER

The header is the main component of the free flow system. It is made up of pipes of a calculated length so that the exhaust gases are evacuated from the engine cylinder quickly and efficiently. This increase in exhaust efficiency results in better engine response and performance. All the pipes in the header are mandrel bent for dimensional consistency.

AUXILIARY MUFFLER

The fitment of this muffler reduces the sound at the rear muffler. This muffler is also of a straight-through glass wool filled design.

MUFFLER

As in a stock car’s exhaust system, the sport exhaust system also consists of a muffler to reduce the sound of the exhaust gases exiting the engine cylinder. This muffler features a straight-through pipe with the surrounding area filled with glass wool to tone down the sound of exiting exhaust gases as well as allowing minimum obstruction to the gases on the way out. The muffler also emits a sporty sound, a benefit of the straight-through design. 

TAIL ENDS

Tail ends, which go on the mufflers, add to the cars looks and are available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
